I dont know if you were being sarcastic or not...but believe it or not when
you smoke for a while you can hit all sorts of notes that you never could
as a non smoker....and it definately changes your tone I dont really know
how it works...but I can sing way higher now than I could before I was a smoker. _________________ If the audience wants perfectly played music, let them listen to angels. Has everyone here checked out Evanescence? Amy Lee has such a voice. Check out "Hello" in particular, where she really soars. One thing I really like about this group is the contrast between the heavy guitars and Lee's angelic voice.

I'll confirm that. I'll be obstinate until you can find me some hard evidence that smoking can actually aid your voice. |

SUFJAN STEVENS
Listen to the song the seer's tower from his album Illinois or the song John Wayne Gacy, also from illinois.
If someones voice is going to make you cry, it's his. _________________ mind your throats please |

| you mentioned unique voices, a few of my favorites are conor oberst of bright eyes, the lead singers of the blood brothers (believe it or not it took them years to perfect their singing). jeff mangum, and maybe chris otepka of troubled hubble. |
