Best of '03

What's the best album you've heard this year, thus far? I'm not exactly sure of mine... I like the new Cursive alot, I like the new Alkaline Trio ok as well.... I'm trying to think of what else I've gotten this year that actually CAME OUT this year.... I don't have my list here, so I'm fucked on that...

Excuse me, because I am a die hard-radiohead fan... such that I in general consider radiohead to operate on an entirely different musical plane than most bands.... But I really like the new Hail To The Thief. That album feels really good to me... Phil the drummer really shines too, that album makes me want to dance so frantically. the cd feels like a band playing together in a room, everyone feeling the same frantic energy and feeding off of each other. I love it. There's some really bright spots too I think... a strange mix of love and paranoia that makes the emotion both poignant and pointed. Anyway... that's my take.

This is some rockin shit, riff-tastic even. Cursive's is damn good too, but I think this Criteria album is fucking kick-dick and crazy and 'muscular'.

anybody heard it? there's a hidden track with Conor Oberst rapping on it
