what to do if you've been banned from the hub

if you have been kicked and banned, please reply in THIS thread.

1.) exact nickname you were using when you were kicked
2.) the reason you were kicked. (if you can't connect to the hub and get this error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host," please see this thread.) also, don't freak out if you were kicked for a fake share, mistakes happen on our end.
3.) your ip address. (you can find this at www.whatismyip.com)

to avoid being kicked in the future, it is a good idea to regularly check the billboard charts to make sure you are not sharing an album that is unsafe. be advised that this changes every thursday. you can type -help in the main chat, then -charts in the help window that pops up to view the charts every week. or you can view them here: http://www.mp3.com/charts/billboard/
note: the link for the charts above shows top albums 1-100. we only pay attention to 1-50.

also, be aware that you will be kicked for sharing any major movie.

again, DO NOT start a new thread about your ban. this is a sticky thread for a reason, and an email is sent to me everytime someone posts in this thread for an unban. if you post in a new thread, i will make fun of you for not being able to read after your post sits for days or even weeks going unnoticed.

note: this thread has been started to help our users get back into the hub before their ban has expired. this is here as a favor to our users. we want your clean share back in the hub just as much as you want to be back. please do not take this opportunity to bitch to the ops. we can just as easily close this thread and make people wait for their bans to expire.

It seems like my IP changes for some reason. I am behind a router and on a wireless connection if that has anything to do with it. whatismyip.com is showing my IP to be 66.82.9.28, but on a hub that i went to soon after, it said my IP was 67.143.128.37. I'm sure that doesn't help much, but I'm not very computer savvy. I tried going back in to your hub but I'm still blocked, so I'm pretty sure it's a full on IP block. If it's causing too much trouble then don't worry about it, thanks for helping out.

yes, it looks as though the second ip is the one you were banned under, so i removed that. you should have no problems connecting now.
